About the Artists

Mr. Bangladesh is one of music’s most in-demand creative forces, and has developed a sound that has come to define new millennium hip-hop, pop, and R&B. That sound has become associated with some of the biggest acts in the industry, including Ludacris, Ciara, Kelis, and EightBall & MJG. Shondrae “Mr. Bangladesh” Crawford is the man behind the sound, and has produced some of the biggest hits of this era.
Born in Des Moines, Iowa, young Shondrae Crawford was destined for greatness. Relocating to the thriving music scene of Atlanta, GA ignited his creative fire. Inspired by Atlanta’s first wave of iconic hip-hop acts, including superstars Outkast and the pioneering quartet Goodie MOB, Crawford decided to make his own indelible mark in the music industry. After his former classmate, Lil’ Fate of Disturbing the Peace introduced him to an then-unsigned rapper named Ludacris; Mr. Bangladesh (as he would come to be known) would go on to produce a large share of Ludacris’ first two multi-platinum albums, Back for the First Time and Word of Mouf. He produced the hit singles “What’s Yo Fantasy,” “Ho,” “Stick’em Up,” and “Go 2 Sleep.” Mr. Bangladesh dominated the airwaves with multiple club bangers, including 8Ball and MJG’s “You Don’t Want Drama,” the Petey Pablo smash “Vibrate,” and his trademark futuristic sound was also featured on Ciara’s “Hotline,” and smashes for Shawnna (“RPM”), and Yung Wun (“I Tried To Tell Ya.”)
Teaming up with Pooh Bear and Sean Garret, (of Usher and 112 fame), to continue his string of smash records; and expanding the scope of his musical and creative influence into R&B and pop, Bangladesh remained musically and professionally ambitious. In 2005 the Bangladesh sound was everywhere, from the Young Gunz track “Same Shit, Different Day,” to Missy Elliot’s “Click Clack.” And, of course, it would be impossible to refer to 2006 without mentioning the Bangladesh-produced Kelis mega-hit “Bossy” from her album Kelis Was Here.
Mr. Bangladesh caught the ear of industry heavyweights--including LA. Reid, Clive Davis and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs--to produce music under their respective corporations but ultimately decided to move forward with his own imprint, Bangladesh Production Company. With new music in 2008 for Dem Franchise Boyz (“Talking Out Tha Side of Ya Neck”), Lil Wayne (the summer smash “A Milli”), Busta Rhymes (“I Got Bass”), Willy Northpole, Star Trak’s Teyana Taylor and Floetry’s Marsha Ambrosius and many more, Mr. Bangladesh’s reputation as a producer is cemented, and he has joined the ranks of music’s most unstoppable hit-makers.
DJ Toomp rose to fame working with southern rapper T.I. on his first four albums, and caught his first big break in 2006 producing T.I.'s single "What You Know", which peaked at #3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and earned both Toomp and T.I. their first Grammy.
More recently, he contributed to production on Kanye West's Graduation, including producing the singles "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Good Life" with West.
He and hip hop veteran Bernard Parks, Jr. have launched their own record label, NZone Entertainment.
